COURSE OVERVIEW

Immerse yourself in a vibrant Italian adventure that combines iconic landmarks and rich cultural sights. Students engage with literary works influenced by picturesque regional landscapes. Highlights include a visit to the Roman Forum and Colosseum, viewing Michelangelo’s David within the Galleria dell’Accademia and discovering the vibrant coastal communities of Cinque Terre. Our final stop brings us to Venice where we will wander along the maze of canals before returning home with memories to last a lifetime.

Here are some of the exciting experiences included in the program.

Colosseum

Visit Rome’s iconic ancient amphitheatre, and discover the history of gladiators, emperors, and life in Ancient Rome.

Accademia Gallery

Visit the Accademia Gallery to see Michelangelo’s iconic David and explore other renowned Renaissance artworks.

Cinque Terre

Discover the colourful villages that tower over the famous coastline of Liguria.

Walking Tour of Venice

Explore the maze of canals in this beautiful city.

Piazza San Marco

Tour Venice’s iconic main square, surrounded by historic landmarks, elegant architecture, and lively cafés.

Online Orientation and First Class

Parents, students and teachers meet in the morning to review travel expectations and the itinerary. Teachers and students meet in the afternoon for their first class and to work on introductory assignments.

Independent Learning Online

Students will work independently to complete and submit assignments. Teachers will be available to answer questions through the online platform.

Teachers and students will interact online as students participate in direct teaching, group activities, discussions and presentations.

Experience the course firsthand and make real-world applications.
