Exploring Greece
COURSE OVERVIEW
Experience the magic of Greece as you tour this ancient country full of history and natural beauty. Each stop along the way presents unique opportunities to experience everything Greek culture is famous for – sun, food, history, and breathtaking views!
We will walk the streets of Kalamata, exploring the old town and boardwalk before we make our way by ferry to Kefalonia to enjoy island life. We will return to the mainland by ferry to spend time in Athens where we will tour the Parthenon and walk the narrow streets of Plaka before returning home with memories to last a lifetime!
ACTIVITIES
Here are some of the exciting experiences included in the program.

Athens City Tour
See the Parliament Buildings and walk the narrow streets of Plaka, Athens’ oldest neighbourhood.

Acropolis
Visit the home of the Parthenon for an up-close view of one of the most famous structures in the world.

Kefalonia Island
Greek Island – Explore the history, culture, food, and magnificent island views.

Ancient Messene
Tour the ruins of this Bronze Age city-state.

Olympia
The birthplace of the Olympics!

Online Orientation and First Class
Parents, students and teachers meet in the morning to review travel expectations and the itinerary. Teachers and students meet in the afternoon for their first class and to work on introductory assignments.
